Bio-organic chemistry, more specifically the development of protecting groups for cysteine and selenocysteine for application in the laboratory synthesis of peptides and proteins.
What do you like most about teaching at Saint Michael's College?
I like the fact that I get to know a few students very well. I see them grow in many ways over the four years at the college. I maintain a long-term relationship with some students after they graduate.
What do you like about Saint Michael's students?
By and large, our students are honest, caring, good people.
